The current treatment facility was built in 2004. It was put into full production in October of that year. The facility is a state of the art, sedimentation/micro-filtration process. The micro-filtration units are built by Hydronautics. The up-flow clarification basins are pulsating clarifier units designed by US Filter Company.

The facility is currently one of only three micro-filtration treatment facilities in Missouri. Concordia's water treatment capacity is 2 MGD (million gallons per day). With the plants forward looking design, we are able to meet or exceed MO DNR regulations consistently now and for the foreseeable future.
